- Opened in 1956, the large Wilton International site at Teesside near Redcar was once wholly owned and occupied by ICI but, following the company's fragmentation, it is now the location of plants operated by various multi-national chemical companies including ICI and was acquired by Sembcorp, a Singaporese company. Firefighting and fire prevention on the site is in the hands of Danish company Falck Fire Services who operate on a 24/7 basis and are also responsible for the site security.
